Visiting your Web site

    For users to visit your Web site, they must know its address, or Uniform Resource Locator (URL).

    To determine your Web site's URL:
    1 Open Mac OS Server Admin and log on to the server you want to administer.
    2 Press the Server Info button and choose Show Server Info.
    3 Note your computer's DNS name in the TCP/IP portion of the Server Info window.
      The URL for your Web site is
    http://name
    (Replace "name" with the DNS name for your computer or the server's IP address.)

    To connect to your Web site:
    1 On any client computer, open a Web browser program.
    2 In the address field of your browser program, type your server's Uniform Resource Locator (URL).
    3 If requested, enter a user name and password.
